Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, focusing on safety and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
• Communicate clearly with nurses and care team members about patient status
• Support comfort measures and emotional needs to improve patient experience
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection-control procedures

Qualifications

• Current and active CNA certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and short-notice per diem assignments
• Able to pass required background checks and health screenings (immunizations as required)
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes accurately
• Compassionate bedside manner and good time management
