Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and ambulation assistance
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status with attention to detail
• Assist nursing staff with daily tasks to support efficient, safe patient care
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to promote comfort and understanding
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Report changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Valid state nursing assistant license where applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Comfort working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed certified nursing assistant (CNA) training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and ADLs
• Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Good observational skills and the ability to report patient changes
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management skills to prioritize patient needs during shifts
