Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments with attention to detail and patient comfort
• Follow treatment plans and protocols while documenting care in the medical record
• Position and prepare patients for therapy, ensuring proper immobilization and safety checks
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize care
• Maintain equipment and safety standards, adhering to radiation safety procedures
• Participate in skills validation such as the Trinity Skills Checklist to demonstrate competency

Qualifications

• Experience in Radiation Therapy (position requires practical therapy skills)
• Current BLS certification
• License/certification verification as required by state and employer
• Completion of the Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required health screenings: Trinity 10-panel drug screen, fit test, and physical/health statement
• Up-to-date immunizations: Tdap, COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and 2-step PPD or IGRA

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy principles and patient positioning
• Familiarity with treatment delivery workflows and safety protocols
• Comfortable with clinical documentation and working in a multidisciplinary team
• Good communication and patient care skills, especially for educating and calming patients
• Attention to detail for accurate treatment setup and verification
