Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality resident care using the full nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate and document
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to the physician's plan of care
- Interpret diagnostic tests and use findings to inform care plans and resident education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident-focused care and achieve positive outcomes
- Support performance improvement efforts and contribute to initiatives that enhance resident care quality
- Provide clear, compassionate education to residents and their families about care, medications and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current California RN license required
- Current certification in CPR required
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated skills in medication administration, nursing assessment and care planning
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and document care thoroughly
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Medication administration and safe documentation
- Interpreting diagnostic tests and applying results to nursing care
- Resident and family education and communication
- Collaborative care planning with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation and charting skills
Benefits
- Sign-on bonus: $7,500
- Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments rewarding up to 30 years of relevant experience
