Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a trusted CNA
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
- Document care accurately and timely in patient records
- Support safe patient mobility and fall-prevention measures
- Collaborate with nurses and staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
- Active authorization to practice in California (state credential/license)
- Comfort working per diem shifts and adapting to variable schedules
- Ability to pass standard background checks and any required facility screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical experience assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff
- Basic vital sign measurement and patient observation
- Reliable documentation habits and attention to detail
- Compassionate approach to patient care and dignity
