Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care consistent with CNA scope
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team
- Offer emotional support and respectful communication to patients and families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active authorization to work in California (per facility requirements)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort working overnight shifts and providing consistent bedside care
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered mindset
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care techniques and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Clear and compassionate verbal and written communication
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
