Rotation currently ~once per month (may change). Shift type: rotating (day/night).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners (and support upcoming Siemens 1.5T equipment) to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform MRI exams following established protocols and tailor scans to patient and physician needs
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, including proper screening and positioning
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in EPIC
• Respond to call-ins as part of the week-long call rotation and cover assigned shifts reliably
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and clinical staff to deliver timely imaging services

Qualifications

• Certified MRI Technologist — ARMRIT certification accepted/required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience (explicit requirement)
• Comfortable with night shifts and weekend on-call coverage; able to work a week-long call (Monday to Monday)
• Texas license not required — open to candidates without TX licensure

Education

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) required/accepted
• No BSN required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems
• Familiarity with Siemens 1.5T (incoming equipment)
• Proficient with EPIC charting and clinical documentation
• Solid understanding of MRI safety, patient screening and positioning
• Able to manage call coverage, rotation scheduling and occasional callbacks
