Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients during the night shift
• Conduct thorough assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
• Document care and patient responses clearly in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Support safe patient handoffs at shift change and ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience working night shifts preferred
• MST competency or experience in MST practice area
• BLS required; ACLS or other advanced certifications preferred where applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and night shift workflows
• Proficient in medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Skilled at patient assessment, developing nursing plans, and escalation
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and clinical communication tools
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
