Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to patients as assigned during your shift
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Document care provided accurately and timely in patient records
• Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Valid authorization to practice in California (as applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable, professional, and able to work overnight shifts
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
• Comfortable with vital signs, basic wound care, and ADL assistance
• Good documentation habits and familiarity with clinical charting
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Teamwork and effective communication with interdisciplinary staff
