Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Quality Management & Accreditation program across the system, shaping strategy and daily operations
• Manage accreditation, infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, risk management, compliance, and credentialing activities
• Develop, implement, and refine policies, programs, and procedures to meet organizational and accrediting body standards
• Oversee preparation and coordination for regulatory and accreditation surveys and act as the subject matter expert during reviews
• Apply rapid PDSA cycles and other performance improvement methodologies to drive measurable quality outcomes
• Partner with EHR teams to ensure quality measurement capture and build useful quality reports for leadership and clinical teams
• Investigate complaints, summarize findings, and present actionable recommendations to executive leadership and the board
• Supervise and mentor staff, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and high-performing teams

Qualifications

• Current RN license or comparable clinical degree
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• At least 5 years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• At least 3 years supervising healthcare professionals
• Proven experience with accreditation standards, infection prevention, patient safety, and risk management
• Strong communication and presentation skills for audiences including clinicians, administration, and media

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree required
• Master's degree in health-related or business field preferred
