Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients with compassion and attention to detail
• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to alarms and clinical changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Perform focused and thorough patient assessments and document findings in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence
• Maintain infection control, immunization, and health screening requirements as directed

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (license/certificate verification required)
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; TNCC and NIHSS listed as required/certified
• Experience working in Med/Surg and Telemetry patient care and cardiac monitoring
• Demonstrated competency in patient assessment, medication administration, and telemetry interpretation
• Ability to complete required health screenings and fit testing prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition skills
• Medical-surgical nursing knowledge and patient assessment expertise
• Proficiency in patient monitoring, documentation, and clinical workflows
• Familiarity with competency testing, skills checklists, and facility-specific systems
• Understanding of infection control, immunizations, and occupational health requirements
