Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Deliver critical support in Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
Operate advanced respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Collaborate closely with physicians while making independent clinical judgments
Cover all areas throughout the facility including inpatient, ER, and specialty units

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
ND state respiratory therapy license required
NICU experience is mandatory
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making
Experience with neonatal through geriatric patient populations
Proficiency with multiple ventilator platforms and respiratory equipment
Excellent collaboration skills with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
