Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments when certified, supporting patients through their cancer journey
Collaborate with the charge nurse and oncology resource RN to deliver safe, effective care
Float to other MedSurg/Telemetry units as needed, expanding your clinical skills across the hospital
Maintain strict sterile technique during procedures like Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification is a plus
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to pass a pre-employment dysrhythmia exam

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology and telemetry nursing expertise
Comfortable with BiPAP and CPAP management
Proficient in sterile field techniques and infection prevention
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to floating between similar units
