Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate during complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Assist with open and endovascular vascular surgeries
Support Type A dissections, thoracoabdominal cases, sternotomies, CABG/AVR/MVR, and TAVR procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the CVOR team in a fast-paced environment
Provide exceptional patient care during emergencies and high-pressure situations
Float between Main OR, Cath Lab, and IR as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of exclusive CVOR experience
Experience scrubbing and circulating in cardiac and vascular surgery
Ability to work well under pressure in emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Strong CVOR experience in cardiac and vascular surgery
Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating
Comfortable with complex procedures including VSD repair, Impella/ECMO insertion, and aortic repairs
Team player who thrives in fast-paced settings
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
