End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including med-surg, tele, ICU, and oncology
Deliver hands-on treatment for ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage a varied caseload that includes ortho, total joints, and complex medical conditions
Support patients through their entire hospital journey from admission to discharge

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, and ICU/ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including cardiac surgery recovery

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Acute care physical therapy expertise
Experience with ventilated and ICU patients
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
