Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week with potential every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across all hospital areas including medication administration and emergency response
Manage ventilators both invasive and non-invasive while monitoring critically ill patients
Perform arterial blood gases, pulmonary hygiene, and hyperinflation therapy to optimize patient outcomes
Assist with intubations and provide safe transport for patients requiring artificial airways
Coordinate home oxygen assessments ensuring seamless continuity of care

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential with Colorado state license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Experience providing respiratory modalities in inpatient hospital settings
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory modalities and medication delivery expertise
Ventilator management for both invasive and non-invasive support
Emergency response and intubation assistance skills
Arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary hygiene techniques
Patient transport of critically ill individuals
