Pharmacy Technician
Location: Westminster, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Variable shifts - Weekdays 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Every other weekend 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. No nights or double backs required.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding to ensure safe medication preparation
- Restock Pyxis machines on nursing units and procedural areas
- Utilize Epic system for accurate medication management
- Restock code trays and emergency kits to support rapid response
- Answer phones and handle medication messages with care
- Maintain medication dispensing systems including Pyxis and main pharmacy carousel
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License required
- PTCB Certification required
- Sterile compounding experience required
- Epic experience required
- Pyxis experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Sterile compounding techniques
- Epic electronic health record system
- Pyxis medication dispensing system
- Inpatient pharmacy operations
- Medication restocking and inventory management
