Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor and titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem while providing expert hemodynamic oversight
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
Float to same-level-of-care units to support colleagues and expand your clinical skills
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license and 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
Comfortable with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
Willingness to float within the same level of care and embrace a diverse patient population
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
EPIC charting experience within the last six months is helpful but not required
Professional appearance with natural nails only per unit policy
