Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
- Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to cardiac changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
- Champion patient experience through clear communication and responsiveness
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Competency managing arterial lines and titratable drips
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
- Ability to work every other weekend and at least two holidays during the contract
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications
- Arterial line management
- High-flow oxygen therapy support
- Patient education and medication communication
- Cultural sensitivity with diverse patient populations
