Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
Monitor and interpret EKGs while safely titrating critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver fast-paced, patient-centered care on a bustling 32-bed unit
Float to other telemetry units and ICU overflow as needed, showcasing your adaptability and clinical expertise
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and WOWs while ensuring excellent bedside handoff communication

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Confident with EKG interpretation and central monitoring
Skilled at titrating cardiac and insulin drips
Comfortable caring for trached patients, post-op neuro cases, and patients with complex needs
Able to pass a dysrhythmia exam and skills lab on day one
Ready to maintain sterile technique during Foley and central line procedures
