Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain optimal 1:3-4 patient ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skill set across Neuro Tele and more
Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Support patients through pre-transplant evaluations, esophagectomies, and ER overflow situations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Strong EKG interpretation skills and Cerner EMR experience
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
Must have reliable transportation for travel team assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac step-down and telemetry monitoring expertise
Comfortable managing CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Proficient with non-titrating drips and post-surgical care pathways
Skilled in sterile technique and infection-prevention protocols
Flexible and ready to float across multiple telemetry units
