Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a mixed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor patients using ventilators and advanced hemodynamic equipment while delivering safe, attentive care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators to support holistic patient recovery
Float to similar units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes and teamwork

Qualifications

Active RN license and 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemo certified nurses strongly preferred
EPIC experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
Proficient with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Comfortable with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for PCU-level patients
Flexible and collaborative approach to floating within similar care levels
