Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs
- Administer medications including limited titratable drips such as Heparin and Cardizem
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Support patients and families through education, comfort, and end-of-life care when needed
- Float to other units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Qualifications
- Active WA or Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
- Comfortable reading telemetry strips and managing cardiac drips
- Strong assessment and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Medical-surgical nursing across diverse patient populations
- Managing patients with CHF, COPD, diabetes, sepsis, and post-surgical needs
- Working collaboratively with CNAs and Charge Nurses
- Adapting to floating assignments and changing unit needs
