Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care coordination for patients in need of psychiatric evaluation
- Complete involuntary 72-hour psychiatric holds when individuals pose a danger to themselves or others
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate mental health interventions
- Support patients and families through challenging mental health crises with empathy and expertise
Qualifications
- Active California LCSW license required
- Current BLS certification
- 5150 certification in California required
- Must have prior Dignity Health experience
- Two supervisory references needed at time of application
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of involuntary psychiatric evaluation processes
- Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within care coordination teams
- Knowledge of California mental health regulations
