Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Provide compassionate care to patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the care team to support patients recovering from total joint replacements
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support excellent patient outcomes
Document assessments and interventions accurately using Cerner
Work alongside dedicated CNAs and charge nurses to deliver top-notch care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience
Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Cerner experience preferred
Some CVA/TIA and total joint replacement experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Reading and signing basic telemetry strips each shift
Caring for patients on set-rate Cardizem drips
Supporting patients using BiPAP and CPAP
Adapting quickly with only one day of unit orientation
