Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered telemetry care with compassion and clinical excellence
Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
Assess patients, recognize changes in condition, and intervene promptly
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the medical record
Educate patients and families about their condition and care plan

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
Experience working on a telemetry unit or with cardiac monitoring
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and integrate quickly into established teams

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
Patient assessment and early recognition of clinical deterioration
Familiarity with common telemetry medications and IV therapies
Proficient documentation in electronic health record systems
Effective teamwork and clear communication with clinical colleagues
