Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly intervene on abnormalities
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following protocols
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize care plans
• Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Telemetry experience required — comfortable with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac rhythm recognition and telemetry strip interpretation
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and alarms
• Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy
• Solid clinical judgment and patient assessment abilities
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
