Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Titrate and manage critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor patient rhythms with confidence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Support patient experience initiatives through clear communication and responsiveness

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency in arterial line management
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Willingness to work flexible schedules and accept feedback

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
IV drip titration and medication management
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Team collaboration and clear communication
Adaptability when floating between units
Cultural sensitivity when caring for diverse populations
