Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate overnight nursing care for patients within the MST program
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and timely
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to clinical protocols and infection control

Qualifications

• Active California RN license (or compact license if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience caring for adult patients in medical-surgical or specialty programs is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently overnight
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Professional bedside manner and patient/family education skills
