Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to long-term care residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and mealtimes
• Perform timely and accurate documentation in the patient care charting system (PCC)
• Float between two floors as needed to support staffing and resident care
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
• Help create a calm, safe nighttime environment that promotes rest and healing
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (eligible to work in Wyoming)
• Experience in long-term care preferred; solid ADL and resident care skills
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL assistance, bathing support, and mealtime assistance
• Familiarity with long-term care routines and resident-centered care
• Experience with PCC charting systems is a plus
• Able to safely transfer and ambulate residents, and follow fall-prevention protocols
• Adaptable floater mentality — comfortable working across two facility floors
• Good nighttime observation skills and the ability to prioritize resident needs
