Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with compassion and professionalism in residential and outpatient settings
• Support the STARS team in delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed substance use treatment
• Monitor and document patient status, behaviors and care plan progress accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized care
• Assist with daily living activities and promote a safe, therapeutic environment
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through respectful communication and advocacy

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment preferred
• Experience with substance use treatment, trauma-informed care or behavioral health is a plus
• Successful completion of pre-employment/post-offer drug screen

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable working in both residential and outpatient substance use treatment settings
• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
• Strong patient care and observation skills
• Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team
• Adaptability to variable night schedules and changing clinical needs
• Good communication and documentation habits
