Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform thorough assessments and develop appropriate nursing plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely
• Respond to clinical emergencies and escalate concerns as needed
• Support patient education and family communication with empathy

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact license eligibility
• Previous RN experience, preferably with MST or related specialty nursing
• Current BLS required; ACLS and specialty certifications preferred
• Comfortable working overnight/night float shifts and adapting to variable schedules
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment and clinical decision making
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Skilled in documentation and electronic medical record use
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
• Basic familiarity with emergency response protocols and triage
