Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Administer and titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips within safe parameters
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and discharge plans
Float to other units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Comfortable reading telemetry strips and managing cardiac drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing across diverse patient populations
Safe titration of Heparin and Cardizem drips
Patient education and family communication
Floating flexibility and adaptability
