Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional licensed nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations for residents
• Lead and guide clinical staff across households on infection control, wound management, RAI/MDS processes and other clinical priorities
• Implement and enforce clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe, sanitary, and efficient nursing care
• Coordinate resident care with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other medical professionals
• Ensure documentation, medication administration, and resident rights comply with facility and government standards
• Foster a person-centered, resident-directed culture and promote team learning and staff development
• Support staffing patterns and resource use that sustain high-quality care and organizational fiscal health
• Champion dementia-sensitive care practices that promote well-being and individualized care

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota or eligible for MN licensure
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings, with demonstrated clinical leadership
• Familiarity with RAI/MDS assessments and the RAI process
• Strong skills in medication administration, wound management, and infection control
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams and to mentor clinical staff
• Dementia sensitivity and experience delivering person-centered dementia care
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain quickly) and up-to-date clinical credentials

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• BSN preferred where available
