Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate intermediate care to cardiac and vascular patients
Titrate critical drips including Amiodarone, Nitroprusside, and Nicardipine
Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to cardiac changes
Support post-surgical CVICU step-down patients during their first 24 hours
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiology teams around the clock
Float to same or lower acuity units as census needs arise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience with cardiac or vascular patient populations
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Drip titration for blood pressure management
BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula support
Post-cath, EP, and structural heart patient care
Floating comfortably across cardiac and vascular units
