Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1, adapting quickly to different unit cultures and patient populations
Monitor cardiac rhythms, titrate heparin drips, and manage patients with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and ortho
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Serve as a charge nurse when needed, supporting team members and maintaining unit flow

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
Previous neuro experience strongly preferred
Willingness to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in MS/Tele nursing including telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Ability to care for diverse patient populations: cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, and more
Strong adaptability and flexibility for float pool assignments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in EHR systems and documentation
