Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Treat a variety of conditions including orthopedic injuries, fractures, neurological cases, and wound care
Collaborate with a supportive nursing and therapy staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
Precept new staff as needed by the unit
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Qualifications

Valid Texas Physical Therapist license
BLS certification required
Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
Wound care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
Wound care management including vacuum-assisted closure
Patient assessment and treatment planning
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
