Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays, with on-call rotation (30-minute response time)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures on patients of all ages
Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring safety and comfort
Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain detailed patient records using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification required
Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Ability to start IVs (if applicable) and handle contrast administration
Comfortable floating to nearby facility (Mercy Southwest, approx. 6.5 miles)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in anatomy and positioning for X-ray and basic fluoroscopic studies
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Familiarity with PACS (Merge Unity) and EMR (Radnet) systems
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
