Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and strategies

Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an SLP
Ability to float to Mercy Medical Center Redding if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
Ability to work independently and in a team
