Location: Bryan, TX

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for acute care patients
Perform patient assessments and treatments for a diverse caseload including ortho, neuro, surgical, critical care, oncology, and general medical
Collaborate with rehab aides and PTAs to optimize patient outcomes
Precept new staff as needed by the unit
Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in Texas
Previous acute care experience preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
BLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech EMR
Strong clinical reasoning and evaluation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
