Location: Redding, CA

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, including every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute rehab setting
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
Assess patient needs and progress, adjusting interventions for optimal outcomes
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home programs

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification (AHA) required
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers - we welcome you!

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
