Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (day/night), including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care in a Family Birthing Center, managing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum for mothers and newborns
Circulate during Cesarean sections and assist in the OR
Titrate oxytocin and occasionally insulin drips
Perform neonatal resuscitation (NRP) at deliveries
Monitor fetal heart rates using Fetalink system and respond to non-stress tests
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, and perinatal specialists to ensure optimal outcomes
Serve as charge nurse or shift manager as needed, balancing assignments and staffing

Qualifications

At least 1 year of LDRP experience required; 3 years preferred
Must have OR circulating experience in L&D
Comfortable with neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and handling high-risk deliveries
Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
Local or travel candidates welcome; must meet facility compliance requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Experience with titratable drips, especially pitocin and insulin
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and ability to adjust staffing ratios
Skilled in using GE fetal monitors and Fetalink system
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
