Location: Bakersfield, CA

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with on-call rotation (30-minute response time)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality X-ray exams including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment with precision and care
Utilize Radnet and Merge Unity systems for image management and documentation
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and lead tech to deliver accurate results

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as an X-ray Tech
ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Ability to float to sister facility (Mercy Southwest) as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in X-ray imaging techniques and anatomy
Skilled in IV starts (not required but preferred)
Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to rotating call and weekend shifts
