Location: Tacoma, Washington

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday-Friday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM; weekend call 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound scans of head and neck, whole body, and select procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and lead tech to ensure accurate imaging
Operate GE and Phillips ultrasound equipment in a 4-room department
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout exams
Document and manage images using EPIC and McKesson PACS

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credential required
Experience with head and neck scans and body scanning essential
OB certification is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ultrasound imaging techniques for a variety of studies
Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
Knowledge of GE and Phillips ultrasound equipment
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a fast-paced workload
