Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes within the Bakersfield area
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques
Collaborate with the home health care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes
Adapt treatment strategies to maximize patient independence and quality of life

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist license (required)
Current BLS certification (required)
Experience in home health or community-based care settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluating and treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions
Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation standards
Excellent problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities
Comfortable with travel between patient homes in the Bakersfield area (mileage covered)
