Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure adherence to departmental and hospital policies and standards.
Utilize Meditech, OBIX, and bedside fetal monitors to deliver safe, effective care.
Provide comprehensive care in a 4-bed LDRP unit and 5-bed nursery/postpartum unit.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP nursing experience required.
Active Alaska RN license.
Current certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, and HS AED.
Must complete medication testing within first two weeks on site.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in LDRP nursing, fetal monitoring, and patient care.
Skilled in electronic medical records (Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis Supply Stations).
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
