Registered Nurse - Long Term Care
Location: Garrison, North Dakota
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every other major holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as charge nurse to oversee resident care and coordinate daily activities
- Administer medications accurately and safely to long-term care residents
- Perform wound care treatments and document progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate with physicians as needed
Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Dakota (compact license accepted)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Previous Long Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Wound care management and documentation
- Charge nurse leadership and delegation
- Knowledge of dementia, diabetes, and heart disease care
- Familiarity with Matrix EMR
