Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, ensuring safe delivery and immediate newborn care
Titrate critical drips such as Magnesium and Oxytocin for antepartum and labor management
Monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue and interpret EFM patterns
Circulate for C-sections, focusing on newborn assessment and support
Manage postpartum care for mother-baby couplets, including medication administration and patient education
Collaborate with charge nurse and multidisciplinary team to maintain optimal patient ratios

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP or Labor and Delivery experience required
Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications mandatory
Ability to independently titrate drips and manage high-acuity situations

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EFM interpretation and use of OB Trace Vue
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for labor and postpartum ratios
Experience with neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a rural hospital setting
