Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with every 3rd weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators, central lines, and complex medications
Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and a dedicated care team
Educate and support families during their NICU journey
Maintain sterile field during procedures like Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent NICU experience, preferably at Level 4
Active BLS and NRP certifications required
Cardiac STABLE certification strongly preferred
Previous travel experience is a plus
Must live outside the 50-mile radius from the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Skilled in sterile technique and critical care procedures
Knowledge of neonatal ventilation management
Ability to float to mother-baby and labor care (babies only)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
