Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call rotation including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage nursing staff in both Cath Lab and ICU departments
Oversee pre-procedure and recovery care for cardiac and vascular patients
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation
Enhance nursing competency through education, mentoring, and culture building
Ensure high-quality patient care and safety across the unit
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of management or clinical leadership experience
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency (or willingness to obtain)
Strong critical care and telemetry skills
Ability to titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex patients

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac and critical care nursing
Knowledge of fluoroscopy and procedural support (preferred)
Leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
